A Tree and 4 Sitters Remain on Berkeley Site After Other Trees Are Felled
Berkeley, Calif.
Four tree-sitters are still camped out in a 90-foot redwood at the edge of the University of California campus here in an attempt to stop the university from building an athletics center on the site. But the rest of the trees they were trying to save are gone.
