A Test to Detect a Date-Rape Drug
What it is: A test to quickly detect the presence of GHB, one of the so-called date-rape drugs, in blood, urine, or semen.
The market: Inventors say they could imagine every emergency room in the country using the test to determine the cause of unconsciousness in patients. It could also be useful in law enforcement.
