A Test for Professors
South Carolina uses six measures to judge the quality of a public college's faculty:
- Faculty credentials. Technical-college instructors should exceed minimum competency standards set by the State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education. Faculty members in other sectors should meet or exceed criteria set by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the institutions' accrediting
