A Source Omitted From a Book

To the Editor:

I want to draw attention to an error in my book, The Migrant's Table, which was featured in Nota Bene (The Chronicle, November 26).

The powerful opening words with which the review begins -- "traveling entails infidelity" -- are Jonathan Raban's, not mine. He wrote them in Passage to Juneau: A Sea and Its Meanings (Pantheon Books, 1999).
