A Small College's Students Take Pride in Growing Much of What They Eat
Sterling College's 96 students eat in a dining hall without a gleaming pizza-and-pasta station, or neon signs, or even a soda dispenser. In place of such amenities they get homemade bread in long, tasty loaves, vegetables grown in the college gardens, and soups prepared in a comfortable kitchen by cooks they can drop in to visit any time they want.
