'A Short-Sighted Move' on Brandeis's Part

As a Brandeis University alumna (Class of 1984) and the daughter of the composer Seymour Shifrin, a Brandeis professor who gave unstintingly of his dedication and devotion to the arts and education at Brandeis — and now as an academic and museum professional myself — I was horrified to learn of the plan to shut the doors of the Rose Art Museum ("Brandeis U.
