A Scholarship That Honors a Murderer

Your piece on Wheeling Jesuit University misses the point (Give & Take, March 8). If Declan J. Hurley had committed a random murder, it is unlikely that the university would have found it appropriate to accept his family's donation. Instead, this was a classic murder-suicide committed in the context of domestic violence.
