A Road Map for Reform of College Athletics

In their recent article, "A Better Way to Measure Coaches' Wins and Losses" (The Chronicle, October 24), Gerald Gurney and Jerome Weber provided a unique perspective on academic reform in collegiate athletics. The authors proposed creating a Coaches' Graduation Rate to place the importance of academic success at the forefront of coaches' responsibilities.
