A Proposed Law That Threatens Libraries

Edward R. Johnson's piece on the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act could not be more timely ("The Law Against Sharing Knowledge," The Review, February 14). His essay correctly highlights the negative impact that Ucita would have on our institutions, just when state legislatures may again be asked to consider the act.
