A Professor Tries to Give Students a Balanced Picture of Islam
After the September 11 attacks, enrollment doubled in Kathryn M. Kueny's courses on Islam at Lawrence University, in Appleton, Wis. Now, the numbers are back to normal, but Ms. Kueny, an associate professor of religious studies, says her work has changed.
