A New Course in a Strong Department

We wish to thank The Chronicle for writing a story about Harvey Mudd College's "Interdisciplinary Laboratory" (Syllabus, October 25). We believe that this course is an important addition to the college's curriculum and can serve as a model for other colleges and universities seeking to develop courses that combine two or more disciplines.
