A Little Extra Compensation for a Well-Paid President

Quinnipiac University reported paying its president, John L. Lahey, $542,080 in salary and benefits in the 2006 fiscal year, which made him one of the highest-paid leaders among his peer institutions. In fact, he was paid more. The university's board of trustees also paid him an additional $135,520 in salary and benefits as chairman of a separate online-education unit.
