Internal divisions at an architecture school lead to the ousting of a dean

Marleen K. Davis wanted help. The dean of the only architecture school in Tennessee, she was struggling with senior professors who she says undermined her leadership, threatened her, and harassed the junior professors. She went to the provost, asking that he do something.

All eight junior faculty members in the college also wanted help. Required sessions with four senior faculty mentors had turned into
