A Call for New Curricula
The annual meeting of the Association of American Law Schools this month drew the first national audience for a movement to make law-school curricula more practical. The effort has been gaining momentum since last January, when the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching released a report calling on law schools to teach more useful skills and to focus more on ethics and professional responsibility.
