$50-Million Pledge Aims to Inspire More Giving to California's Community Colleges
The California Community Colleges will receive up to $50-million from the Bernard Osher Foundation for scholarships at its 109 colleges, the system's foundation announced last week. The pledge, which is quite large for one made to community colleges, is intended to spur other donors to join in giving to those institutions.
