The Air Force Academy said on Thursday that five more freshman cadets had acknowledged cheating on a test, bringing the total number to 24 in a scandal that also involved downloading pornography in violation of academy rules, the Associated Press reported. The academy’s superintendent restricted all 4,300 cadets to the campus last week, until further notice, as a penalty for the misconduct and to reflect on it. An official at the academy said that two-thirds of the cases of cheating involved athletes.
