Duke U.'s Muslim Chaplain Offers Words of Reason, Words of Faith
Only a handful of colleges have Muslim chaplains. Duke University joined their ranks in 2008, naming Abdullah T. Antepli to a joint position as Muslim chaplain and adjunct faculty member in the divinity school. As a chaplain, Imam Abdullah provides guidance to Duke's Muslim students, offers pastoral services to students of any or no religious background, and does interfaith work.
