5 Colleges Announce Capital Campaigns

Five colleges have announced new fund-raising campaigns:

  • Houghton College, in New York, has announced a campaign to raise $48.5-million by 2006 in order to increase its endowment, support operating costs, and improve facilities. The campaign began in 1999 and has raised more than $27-million.
  • North Carolina A&T State University, in Greensboro, has announced a campaign to raise $100-million by 2007. The money will support scholarships, faculty and staff development,
