5 Academics Win 1999 Pulitzer Prizes
Three professors at the City University of New York, one at Princeton University, and another at the University of Chicago were among the winners of the 1999 Pulitzer Prizes in drama, letters, and music, which were announced last week by Columbia University.
Each recipient will be awarded $5,000.
A. Scott Berg, a biographer, received the biography prize for Lindbergh (G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1998).
