4 Faculty Members Are Honored as U.S. Professors of the Year

Jerusha B. Detweiler-Bedell, who teaches a clinical-psychology course at Lewis & Clark College, gives students who sign up for her class this odd-sounding instruction: Be ready to act as if you have a psychological disorder.

Then, when class begins, the students can take turns playing the role of patient and therapist, to practice therapeutic techniques they learn from her.
