32 Americans Are Awarded Rhodes Scholarships; None Are From Harvard
Thirty-two American students were named as Rhodes scholars in November.
The 19 men and 13 women will study for two or three years at the University of Oxford in England, beginning in October.
The scholars were chosen from 903 applicants who were endorsed by 333 colleges and universities.
The U.S. Naval Academy had the largest number of scholars, with four. The University of Chicago and Duke and Yale Universities had three each.
