32 American Students Named Rhodes Scholars
Thirty-two American students were named last week as Rhodes Scholars for 2008. Each will receive scholarships to study at the University of Oxford, in England, for two to three years.
Stanford University and the University of Chicago had the most recipients, with three apiece. The Ivy League had a strong showing as usual, with two winners each from Columbia, Harvard, and Princeton Universities, and one each from Dartmouth College, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale
