3 More Universities Join $10-Million Club in Annual Revenue From Licensing Inventions
The number of universities earning more than $10-million annually from their licensing of inventions inched up in the 2006 fiscal year, according to survey results released last week.
A summary report on the survey, conducted by the Association of University Technology Managers, also suggests that universities created a record number of start-up companies based on inventions by their researchers.
