3 Colleges Announce Updates on Campaigns

* California State University at Bakersfield has announced a campaign to raise $11-million by 2000. The money will help finance construction of a Leadership Development Center and increase the university's endowment for scholarships and other programs. Thus far, $9.4-million has been raised.

* Hamilton College, in New York, has increased the goal of its four-year campaign from $83-million to $100-million. The money will be used to support scholarships and
