29-Nation Pact Seeks to Encourage Compatibility in European Higher Education
Top education officials from 29 European countries have issued a declaration that commits their diverse higher-education systems to changes that will make them more compatible with one another.
The senior officials, including 19 education ministers, made the pledge at a meeting here in June. All countries represented at the meeting -- constituting most of Western and Eastern Europe -- endorsed the so-called Bologna
