20 Scholars Receive $1-Million Each for New Approaches to Teaching Science
As part of an effort to improve undergraduate education in the sciences, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute announced last week that it would give 20 research scientists $1-million each to develop programs that will attempt to bridge the gap between the classroom and the laboratory.
