2-Year-College President Quits in North Dakota

The president of North Dakota’s College of Science, Sharon Y. Hart, has resigned amid criticism of her leadership by some faculty members and of her fund raising by some alumni, the Associated Press reported today. The North Dakota University System and Ms. Hart, who has been president of the two-year college since 2000, are said to have reached an agreement in which she would leave the institution and take a job in the system office until she could find permanent work elsewhere.
