2 Universities Sue Insurers Over Katrina Damage
Two more universities in New Orleans have sued their insurance companies in the wake of the devastation from Hurricane Katrina a year ago.
Loyola University New Orleans says that its insurer has failed to pay claims. Dillard University says that its insurance companies illegally slashed its flood-insurance coverage, leaving it vulnerable to another disaster. The suits follow one by Tulane University.
