2 Students Complained of Harassment by Cho in 2005

The Virginia Tech police revealed at a news conference this morning that two female students had complained in 2005 that they were being harassed by Cho Seung-Hui, the student who killed 32 others and himself in Monday’s shootings.

In both instances, officers spoke with Mr. Cho, eventually asking him to meet with a counselor, which he did voluntarily. According to the university, he was then taken to the Carilion Saint Albans Behavioral Health Center under a temporary detention order. But after that, the police said, they had no contact with Mr. Cho. —Lawrence Biemiller
