2 Professors of Composition Studies Take New Jobs, at Penn State and Stanford; Female Astronomer Wins Tenure at Harvard
Their literary-studies equivalents would be Edward Said and Catharine R. Stimpson, and their decisions to take new jobs would be big news. But because Keith Gilyard and Andrea Lunsford teach composition studies, their relocation to Pennsylvania State and Stanford Universities, respectively, won't necessarily be hallway chatter in English departments around the country.
