2 Part-Timers Sue State of Washington Over Health Benefits

Two part-time community-college faculty members have sued the State of Washington, charging that they were unlawfully denied health-care benefits.

The lawsuit, filed late last month in state court, could affect thousands of part-time instructors in Washington, who teach about 40 per cent of all community-college courses.
