2 Months Late, California Budget Contains Mostly Bad News for Colleges

More than two months after the state's previous budget expired, California lawmakers finally completed a plan for the current fiscal year last week when Gov. Gray Davis revised and then approved a budget sent to him by the State Legislature earlier in the week.
