2 Books Celebrate the Origins of Campus-Based Inventions
The organization for people who work to commercialize academic research is publishing two books this month celebrating the origins of dozens of college-based inventions that benefit society, including life-saving therapies like the anticancer drug Taxol and agricultural products like the Honeycrisp apple.
The group's leaders say they hope the publications will help to inform the general public — and policy makers in Washington and statehouses around the country —
