The American Psychological Association and the new National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education have announced plans to jointly publish a new quarterly journal to guide colleges’ efforts related to diversity and inclusiveness. The groups say the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, to be started next year, will feature research findings, descriptions of promising practices, commentaries, and book reviews. Its editorial board includes the chancellor of the University System of Maryland, William E. Kirwan, as well as the diversity officers of several public and private colleges. Its editor is Michael R. Stevenson, associate provost and professor of psychology at Miami University, in Ohio. —Peter Schmidt
