1,500 Colleges Warned to Report Statistics or Lose Student-Aid Eligibility

The National Center for Education Statistics warned 1,543 postsecondary institutions last month that they could lose eligibility for federal student-aid programs and face $25,000 fines if officials did not report data that was due in October.
