15 Board Members Resign at Canadian Medical Journal
In the latest blow in a months-long dispute over the editorial independence of the Canadian Medical Association Journal, 15 members of the journal's editorial board resigned en masse this month, leaving only four people on the board.
Their action closely followed the resignation of another editorial-board member — Jerome P. Kassirer, a professor at Tufts University's School of Medicine and the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.
