1,100 Students Hit by Grading Error on TOEFL
More than 1,000 students who took the computer-based Test of English as a Foreign Language from September to March received inaccurate scores because of a grading error by the Educational Testing Service.
The examination, which is commonly called the TOEFL, evaluates the English proficiency of students whose first language is not English. For such students, the test is required for admission or for placement
