10 Universities Get NSF Grants for High-Performance Computing
The National Science Foundation last month awarded grants for high-performance computing to 10 universities, bringing to 177 the number of institutions that have received such awards from the science foundation since 1995.
The universities will use the two-year awards, each worth about $350,000, to connect to a national grid of research networks that operate at speeds up to 2.4 gigabits per second.
